Krista Schimmelbusch

Krista Schimmelbusch is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She holds a Master of Arts in Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling from George Fox University, where her studies focused on attachment-based methods of therapy to help couples, families and individuals create deeper and more meaningful connections in their relationships. Krista has a private practice, Heartfelt Connections Counseling, in Tigard, Oregon. 

She is a certified Level 2 Restoration Therapist and is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT). She recently completed an externship in Emotionally Focused Therapy in London, England.  

Krista works with individuals and couples who struggle with depression, anxiety, sexual and emotional abuse, grief, trauma and infidelity. She helps clients identify love and trust wounds that create disconnection and distress in their lives and helps them to create new meanings and connections that heal and restore peace in their relationships. Krista has been married for 35 years. She and her husband have seven children.
